NBC Universal will offer both Pre-Games and In-Games Winter Olympics content On Demand: The Olympic Games run from 2/12/10 - 2/28/10.
Viewers will be able to access robust NBC Olympics video content on-demand from their home, both prior to and during the Games. Olympic fans will be able to gear up for Vancouver with NBC Olympics pre-Games content, with recaps and previews, profiles of Team USA athletes and more.
During the 2010 Winter Games, NBC Olympics will provide daily highlights and long-form coverage of the best action from Vancouver -- including exclusive HD features. NBC Olympics video on-demand content will be available on select cable and satellite operators.
The following Categories will be available within the "2010 Winter Olympics" folder:
- Board & Freestyle
- Figure Skating
- Hockey
- Skiing
- Speed Skating
Pre-Games offering consists of 26 short-form clips highlighting past Olympics and a preview into Vancouver events and athletes. Available in both SD & HD. Phased rollout starting 12/9 with additional categories released on 12/28 and 1/20. All content available through 3/12/10.
In Games offering will consist of 10-15 highlight clips and 3-5 full length event replays to be delivered daily.
