IFC announced today that it would release “Father of My Children” next year simultaneously in theaters and on VOD. IFC Films acquired U.S. rights to this French drama which won the special jury prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. “Father of My Children” is the story of... a film producer facing financial troubles beneath the façade of an idyllic life. The film stars Chiara Caselli, Louis-Do de Lencquesaing and Alice de Lencquesaing. It was written and directed by Mia Hansen-Love and produced by Philippe Martin, David Thion and Oliver Damian of 27 Films Prod. The feature is Hanson-Love’s second following her debut in 2006 with “All Is Forgiven.” “Father of My Children” will have its North American premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
