New Pop Music Sensation Charice makes her Glee Debut Plus On Demand Specials from Rock & Roll Favorites:
The sensationalized musical steamroller known as GLEE debuted its second season premiere this week and fans of the show were delighted to a few new cast members. Among them was Charice- Oprah’s pint sized prodigy from the Philippines whose story has been chronicled on numerous shows.

Charice (Glee, FOX)

Coming from the most impoverished background imaginable, little Charice had always dreamed of becoming the next Celine Dion. And for most needy children, such dreams are a thing of pure fantasy but her talent is truly undeniable and Charice, who only goes by one name, proved this week that she deserves this new acclaim.

If you’re not a fan of Oprah (we’re not friends), you may be wondering what this girl has done to secure a role on one of the most talked about shows in the last few years. This week, Music Choice On Demand has two of Charice’s music videos including her international #1 single for “Pyramid” featuring Iyaz from the song “Replay.” It definitely takes balls to stand up to seasoned singer like Lea Michele but Charice held her own during their shortened rendition of “Telephone” by Lady Gaga.

If pop music isn’t really your thing then check out MTV2 On Demand for an all inclusive Kanye West Video Playlist. His latest video for “Power” is one of the most unique videos I have ever seen and the song also provides the theme music for THE SOCIAL NETWORK previews.

After this year’s VMA performance, music aficionados are eager for what this multi-tasking rapper’s video for “Runaway” will shape up to be. Rumors are swirling about a 45-minute extravaganza, complete with ballerinas and a full scale orchestra but who knows?! Check out his past videos for hits like “Gold Digger,” “Heartless,” and “Flashing Lights.”

If Pop or Hip Hop is not really your style, Events on Demand have some new additions for the Rock & Roll crowd. Hard rocker Andrew W.K presents a live concert from his 2006 national tour sure to get die hard fans jamming in their living rooms.

For the more discerning and classic rock fan, AC/DC: Thunder Rock Interviews takes fans back into music history with poignant interviews from band members as they rehash the glory days when rock was king. For a more modern rock edge, check out new music videos from Maroon 5 and Kings of Leon up this week on Music Choice On Demand.

So whether you’re into Pop, Hip Hop, or Rock, this week On Demand has some great choices to wet your musical appetite!
