February, the month of love or debilitating sadness depending on your relationship status! But don’t worry it’s Kate here to remind you that Champagne tastes just as delicious alone as it does with a significant other. And if you have managed to find love in a hopeless place good for you. Now you and your special someone can share in your alcoholism together.

Nothing says true love quite like drunken commitment and mediocre prix fixe menus. Regardless if you’re taken or considering adopting some cats we can all agree on one thing this Valentine’s day; Movies On Demand is a sure fire way into someone’s heart. And lucky for you I have my February On Demand Weekly Movie On Demand preview right here.

ABOUT TIME - Premieres February 4
It’s the month of cherubs and Hallmark so of course I have to throw in a token rom com for your viewing pleasure. And there’s no better option then ABOUT TIME, a film starring the rom com queen herself, Ms. Rachel McAdams. ABOUT TIME is also written by Richard Curtis the man behind LOVE ACTUALLY and the world’s resident doctor love.

And let me tell you he does not disappoint with this romance about a time traveling ginger and his ultimate quest to land a girlfriend and fix his sub par life. It’s a charming witty story that is sure to entertain everyone, and will be a great addition to your Valentines plans especially if someone lied about making those romantic reservations.
R, Comedy/Romance, Domhnall Gleeson, Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy, Same Day As Theatrical

THE ART OF THE STEAL- Premieres February 7 INDIE PICK
When you think of romance what comes to your mind? Canada of course! And the THE ART OF THE STEAL is a Canadian comedy you do not want to miss out on. Sure it doesn’t technically have anything to do with romance, but truly haven’t you had enough Sees candy shoved down your throat.

THE ART OF THE STEAL follows the tale of Crunch Calhoun a motorcycle daredevil and semi-reformed art thief (Because of course the two go hand in hand). With the urging of his brother Matt Dillon, Crunch is thrust into one last heist, getting the old team back together, and stealing a priceless historical book. With a plot that cracked out and fabulous there is really nothing more I can say.
R, Comedy, Kurt Russell, Jay Baruchel, Pre-Theatrical

GRAVITY - Premieres February 25
Tina Fey had it right when she said “It’s the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age”. And by watching GRAVITY you can really see the truth in that statement. As well as the Oscar nominated performance of Sandra Bullock, the Oscar nominated directing of Alfonso Cuaron, and the eight other Oscar nominated parts that make up this film.

GRAVITY is a heart pounding 91 minutes of panic that will deter anyone from pursuing their dream of becoming an astronaut. It’s a spectacular film for many reasons, but lets be real. It’s all about the Clooney.
PG-13, SciFi/Drama, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney

Well that’s February team! Happy watching!
