For those wanting to do more to help fight cancer than just posting the color of your bra strap on Facebook, Comcast TV On Demand has joined forces with Stand Up 2 Cancer to give us Stand Up 2 Cancer On Demand. Stand Up 2 Cancer is an organization trying to raise awareness and money to help cure cancer. The venture with Comcast TV On Demand is a way to further that cause, raise awareness, and raise some money all at the same time.

“Whether it’s how the research we fund is conducted, or how we engage the entertainment community, collaboration and innovation are Stand Up To Cancer’s twin mantras,” said Laura Ziskin, the highly-acclaimed film producer and a Stand Up 2 Cancer Founding Member. “Comcast partnered with us on something that has never been done before."

To find the special Stand Up 2 Cancer section, go from the main menu to Music and then click on Stand Up 2 Cancer folder. What will you get with Stand Up 2 Cancer on Demand? A wide array of music videos from artists including:

- Bruce Springsteen,

- Bob Dylan

- Jay-Z

- Lady GaGa

- Rihanna

- Pearl Jam

- Alicia Keys

- Justin Timberlake

- Dave Mathews

Some of the more interesting things included are bits from the movie "It Might Get Loud," clips of the Metropolitan Opera performing La Boheme, the Magic Flute and others, and videos by "Wicked" star Idina Menzel. All videos start off with a short PSA and information about cancer and phone numbers to call will run at the bottom of each video.

But there's more to all of this then JT, Jazy-Z, and the Boss, you get PSAs from stars ranging from Scarlett Johannson to Katie Couric to-- yes-- Larry David and Charles Barkley (?!) There are also clips about the innovative treatments being developed with stories from people who have survived cancer as well as merchandise you could buy like t-shirts or tote bags with proceeds going to Stand Up 2 Cancer.

And speaking of Comcast TV On Demand, they're also offering a special section where if you purchase a video, the money will go to directly to StandUup 2 Cancer. These including an extended PSA featuring dozens of celebrities, a video and extended video of the song "Up2" which was written by ex-Eurythmics Dave Stewart, and a documentary about cancer survivors by award winning director Errol Morris.
