Here’s a secret I’ll share that you can’t tell. I really like watching the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader reality show. When I was six, I told people I wanted to be a doctor and a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Thank god I forgot about that when it came time to apply to college. The show has become my substitute and it’s shown me I could NEVER care about cheers the way these girls do.
This VOD workout though is KILLER.
High knee jumps? WTF?? The guy teaching is the one in charge of getting the girls into shape and he looks like Mr. T sans gold. The workout doesn’t stop getting hard and it’s all good old fashioned hard stuff that works. Except sometimes I want a short cut. But there is no short cut for donkey kicks. I now have a new found respect for these girls when I watch football. Kinda. I mean they are working hard to get in shape for a short period of time where people sort of notice them. And they should have more clothes on. This isn’t soft core.
The only critique I have is that if you’re going to do hard old fashioned moves, combo moves would be better as they get results faster. Why do biceps curls while you’re standing there? Multi-task and do those while you’re doing squats (who am I? Jillian Michaels just took over my body) so you can go eat dinner sooner.
