Hi, my name is Carey Reilly. I am a comic, wife and stay at home mother of two children. My daughter is four years old and my son is 21 months old. We live right outside NYC in New Jersey.
My house can at sometimes seem a little crazy. My husband thinks he¹s Dr. Doolittle and brings home any orphaned animal he can get his hands on.. So our house is like a mini-petting zoo.
I use my On Demand throughout the day as my lifeline. I am not ashamed to say it either. My kids watch more than 30 min of television a day. When I hear people say they don¹t even own a TV I think.. ³yeah, because you work full time.² I need the TV on just so I can distract the kids long enough to sweep the floor or make them their favorite toasted cheese!

Day 1
I love love love the new Fresh Beat Band! They are the cutest kids jumping
around and singing and dancing. Sort of a modern day "Kids Incorporated." Do
you remember that one? Check it out on Nick Jr. On Demand
Day 2
My son LOVES the new Disney show, "Handy Manny." It's like a newer version
of the stale Bob the Builder. Manny Garcia voiced by Wilmer Valderrama
is a bi-lingual Hispanic handy man who puts his talking tools to work every
episode on various projects. When my 21 month old son hears the catchy
theme song sung by Los Lobos he runs into the room, yells out, "Manny!"

Day 3
I can't get enough of "Little Bear," The music is beautiful and it's so
soothing. Check it out on PBS Sprout.
Day 4
When I was young my favorite book was the Bernstein Bears. I loved the
illustrations...I wanted to live in that big tree house with the pink bay
window coming out of the side of it. Today I showed my daughter the
Bernstein Bears cartoon on Noggin. She loved it. Those bears are so cute
and they call each other brother and sister bear.
Day 5
It's February and I am still watching Christmas episodes On Demand. My
daughter LOVES The Little Bear episode called "Ginger" where gingerbread
cookies come alive. Check it out on Noggin.
